CHRISTIANA, Del. (AP) — A Delaware mall shooting left three people injured and forced shoppers to evacuate as police investigate. Delaware State Police said they were investigating the shooting at the Christiana Mall, in a northern community near Pennsylvania. “We can confirm that there are 3 victims who were injured by gunfire and transported to an area hospital for medical treatment,” police said in a tweet. “There are currently no public safety concerns at Christiana Mall and the surrounding area.” The mall would remain closed Saturday evening, police said in a statement.The three people were shot in the food court area, WPVI-TV reported. Police asked people to keep away as authorities investigate, but set up a reunification site at the north entrance for those trying to locate someone. CHICAGO — Two men are in critical condition after a shooting in the Grand Crossing neighborhood early Saturday evening.According to the Chicago Police Department, officers were called to the 7000 block of South Lafayette Avenue around 5:27 p.m. Police said a 24-year-old man and another male of unknown age were on the street when an unknown vehicle pulled up and an offender from inside the vehicle opened fire on the two.The 24-year-old man was shot in the head and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition. CHICAGO — Two men are in police custody after one pulled out a gun and opened fire after an argument at a South Loop movie theater Saturday evening, according to the Chicago Police Department.CPD said officers were called to the 1100 block of South Delano Court at around 7:30 p.m. for a pair of male individuals who were involved in a fight while inside a movie theater.According to police, during the fight, one of the two male individuals pulled out a gun and fired shots at the other male, but no one was hit by the gunfire. CHICAGO — A teenager who was shot and killed on the city's Northwest Side Saturday morning has been identified by police. According to police, 17-year-old Daniel Rios was in a physical altercation with a known offender near the 6700 block of West Belmont Avenue around 7:00 p.m. Friday night when the individual produced a handgun and shot Rios before fleeing the scene. 2 men die after Garfield Park shooting, succumbed to injuries Police say Rios was shot in the lower left abdomen and was transported to Loyola Hospital in critical condition.
