The Celtics’ at full strength, with the most talented starting five in the NBA, looked nearly unbeatable through the first two months of the season. But even the best can’t be perfect every night. On a night that they looked mostly out of sorts, the Celtics found a way to make things interesting in the final minute after a furious fourth-quarter comeback. But it was too little, too late in a 127-121 loss to the surging Thunder in Oklahoma City, snapping the Celtics’ six-game winning streak.Kristaps Porzingis scored 34 points and Jayson Tatum added 30, but Jaylen Brown went just 4-for-17 on a bad shooting night. The Celtics’ defense wasn’t nearly good enough. A poor third quarter – in which they let the Thunder score 40 points – was ultimately their downfall. The Celtics had no answers for Shai Gilgeous Alexander, who erupted for 36 points. When they made a few runs late, the Thunder had every answer. The Celtics are now 15-2 when at full strength this season, with the losses coming to...

EL CAJON, Calif. -- The El Cajon Police Department has created a 35 minute film documenting the often frustrating issue of dealing with the homeless crisis and to answer the public’s question of why the cops aren’t doing more about it.“Proposition 47 passed in 2014, and it reduced many of the felony crimes involving theft and drug use and drug possession, those types of things. It reduced those to misdemeanors, making them non-bookable offenses in the county of San Diego,” Chief of Police Mike Mouton told FOX 5. “So if somebody's using methamphetamine right behind you right now, that's not something we can take somebody to jail for. We have to write them a ticket and then hope they appear in court.”  Interview: Newsom ‘frustrated’ by local governments’ inaction on homelessness, behavioral health crises Right away in the documentary it becomes abundantly clear just how many people living on the streets are drug addicted and/or selling, and doing so by choice. When offered ...

Later, veteran wing Marcus Foligno was scratched, as well, and the Wild called on three forwards with a combined six NHL games this season — Nic Petan, Jake Lucchini and Sammy Walker — to fill in some gaps. The Wild played a tight game against the Flames but clearly missed the firepower watching from the press box in a 3-1 loss.Andrew Mangiapane and Jona...
