Police in Prince George’s County, Maryland, are investigating a “domestic-related” shooting that killed a teenage girl and sent her father to the hospital.The shooting happened Wednesday night at around 9:35 p.m. on Tanow Place in District Heights.Police say Nia Johnson, 17, of District Heights, was killed in the shooting. Her father was was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.When officers arrived at the scene, they found Johnson and her father inside of the home with gunshot wounds.Police say that the shooting appears to be domestic and that detectives are working to determine motive as well as who was the shooter.They said there are not believed to be any outstanding suspects.Anyone with information is asked to contact Prince George’s County Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-8477.Below is a map of where the shooting occurred.
